Family Fun Day for the Stars at County Museum
We call it the Big Dipper, but other cultures call it Big Bear or First Man. Why are there different names for the same constellations? Watch the stars and listen to their stories in StarLab, the San Bernardino County Museum’s inflatable planetarium, on Saturday, February 10.
StarLab show times are 11:00 and 11:45 a.m. and 12:30, 1:15, 2:00, 2:45, and 3:30 p.m. The thirty-minute shows are free, but seating is limited to the first 25 participants for each program. StarLab timed passes will be available at the Museum’s front desk starting at 10:00 a.m. The Star Lights show is developed for families and adults; activities may not be suitable for children age 4 and under.
The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays and holiday Mondays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 (adult), $5 (student or senior), and $4 (child aged 5 to 12). Children under five and Museum Association members are admitted free. Parking is free. For more information, visit www.sbcountymuseum.org.
The museum is accessible to persons with disabilities.
