Hanging with the Museum
“Hanging with the Museum: art works by museum staff and volunteers” is now showing at the San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands. The exhibit runs through January 14, 2007, and is free with museum general admission.
Participating in this exhibit are Maxine Easter, education division volunteer, needlepoint; JoAnn Watson, education division senior museum technician, pencil drawings and taxidermy; Nan Pearson, Museum Store volunteer, photography; Karen Carter, biological sciences division, photography; Craig Putnam, exhibits fabrication specialist, sculpture, photography, and mixed media; Jennifer Reynolds, marketing division, photography; Quintin Lake, paleontology section, photography and glass; Jolene Redvale, education division, gourd decoupage; Jonathon Corbridge, education division volunteer, sculpture; Carey C. Smith, exhibits designer, pen and ink; Eric Scott, curator of paleontology, photography; Chad Lynde, Exploration Station coordinator, mixed media; and Priscilla Hunt, education division volunteer, water color.
The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays and holiday Mondays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 (adult), $5 (student or senior), and $4 (child aged 5 to 12).
