Description: The San Bernardino County Museum
holds more than 1.5 million fossils in its collections. "Unearthed"
presents a sample of some of the most exciting and interesting
specimens collected by museum paleontologists. From an extinct
ground sloth and North American camels to prehistoric horses and
cats, visitors to Unearthed will see fossils found beneath our
feet and come away with a better understanding of the variety
of life forms that once lived in southern California and the Southwest.
