The Division of Environmental Health Services (DEHS) is dedicated to improving the quality of life by protecting public health, promoting safety and preventing environmental hazards so those who reside, visit and invest can prosper and achieve well-being.

Important Announcement

On December 2, 2015 the County of San Bernardino was the subject of a tragedy that impacted the ability of the Division of Environmental Health Services to continue to provide public service. In response to that, the County Family is working very hard to restore these essential customer services so that public health is not compromised. It will take some time to rebuild our staffing and capacity to provide service. We are asking for your understanding, please be patient as we are working on the most urgent public health needs first. Please be assured that on behalf of our colleagues, co-workers and friends from Environmental Health Services, we will get to you, we will answer your questions and we will provided the high level of service that you have grown to expect.

In recent days, there has been an overwhelming outpouring of support from you our customers and the public at large for those affected by this tragedy. In this time of need, your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated and provide tremendous support to us all and for that, we are truly grateful.
